Brand guidelines

The brand is not yours.

These guidelines exist so you know exactly what you may do with the FinDom brand. You may do nothing. The details follow.

01Permission

Any use of the FinDom name, the mark, Dom's name, or the phrase "good girl" in a financial context requires Dom's prior written permission. Requests are reviewed within 5–7 business days. Historically, all are denied. This page has permission.

02The mark

  • Do not redraw the paw.
  • Do not rotate the paw.
  • Do not recolor the paw.
  • Do not pet the paw.

03Clear space

Maintain clear space around the mark equal to its full height on all sides. Maintain more around Dom.

04Color

05Typography

The serif carries our statements. The monospace carries our verdicts. If you have to ask which is which, do not write for us.

06Voice

Calm. Precise. Disappointed, never cruel. We do not use exclamation points; nothing excites us. We do not use em-dashes; we finish our sentences.

07Naming

It is FinDom: capital F, capital D, one word. Dom is Dom. Dom's pronouns are Dom. "The app" is acceptable when whispered.
